Admiral UK launches a new data analytics apprenticeship programme
Our UK business, Admiral, is proud to announce its first Data Analytics Apprenticeship programme, an exciting initiative designed to kickstart careers in data and technology and inspire the next generation without a university degree.
The 18-month programme offers successful candidates the opportunity to gain paid, hands-on experience within Admiral’s data and technology team as an Apprentice Data Analyst, whilst working towards a fully funded, nationally recognised Level 3 Diploma in Data Analytics from specialist training provider ALS Training.
The programme is set to begin in Autumn 2025, with a hybrid working model that includes a minimum of two days a week based at Admiral’s Cardiff headquarters, working alongside data and technology experts to solve real business problems and gain hands-on experience with code.
Apprentices will be supported by Admiral’s Data and AI Academy, providing a vast range of learning opportunities, including expert-led sessions tailored to develop deep technical and business knowledge, mentorship and access to learning events.
At the end of the apprenticeships, the cohort will also receive follow-on support and become part of the Early Careers Community, benefitting from continued guidance and coaching from the Early Careers team.
Admiral’s Data Analytics Apprenticeship programme represents a strategic milestone in talent development. Through continued investment in early careers, the business is equipped to bridge technical skills gaps and cultivate a workforce prepared for the future. The programme also expands access to high-skilled roles beyond traditional academic routes, while fostering talent and delivering meaningful career opportunities.
Rachel Purchase, Director of Data and Analytics for Admiral UK, said: “We’re thrilled to launch our first Data Analytics Apprenticeship programme at Admiral. This programme is testament to our commitment to developing early talent and fostering a diverse and inclusive data community. We believe that our apprenticeship programme will provide aspiring data analysts with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the ever-evolving field of data and technology.”
