Building flood resilience with the National Trust
Our UK home insurance business covers over 2 million households and has extensive experience in supporting people impacted by floods.
As part of our UK insurance business’ partnership with the National Trust, it's combining the Trust’s environmental expertise with the home insurance team's deep knowledge of floods and customer care to help homeowners to better prepare for flooding, in particular, surface flooding.
The partnership focuses on caring for both the environment and people to protect what matters most now and for future generations by, for example, avoiding the use of artificial grass and opting for native species such as trees and plants to absorb water.
