Introducing wild beavers into ecosystems with the National Trust
Through our partnership with the National Trust, we’re proud to support the release of wild beavers at the Holnicote Estate in Somerset.
Beavers are remarkable ecosystem engineers. By slowing the flow of water, creating new wetlands and improving water quality, they help boost biodiversity and strengthen natural flood resilience- benefits that support both people and wildlife.
Over the next three years, our partnership will focus on restoring important landscapes and raising awareness of how nature-based solutions can help tackle the growing threat of flooding.
