TIME to celebrate our sustainability commitments

Our purpose is to help more people to look after their future and we believe that we have a key role to play in creating a cleaner, greener planet. Our sustainability commitment influences everything we do; from the way we support our customers and colleagues to the way we shape our products and policies and the investments we make.
We are proud to have been recognised by TIME magazine and Statista as 25th in their World's Best Companies in Sustainable Growth 2025 list for our commitment and evidence of pairing growth with environmental stewardship. TIME and Statista identified companies around the world that demonstrate both exceptional financial and environmental performance, with recognised companies striving for lower carbon footprints, low water consumption and waste production rates, and high green energy usage.
In the last year, we published our Net Zero Transition Plan, which outlines how we aim to achieve net zero by 2040 and was one of the first plans from an insurer to include the measurement of customers’ motor emissions. We also received an MSCI ESG rating of AAA – the highest possible rating - and saw our decarbonisation targets approved by the Science-Based Targets initiative.
Through our Community Investment Fund and Green Fund Initiative we support a range of community education programmes focused on helping to tackle environmental impact challenges. This includes a partnership with Earthwatch Europe and the creation of Green Earth Schools in Wales which transform school grounds into nature-rich spaces where pupils can learn more about nature. These achievements are just some of the examples of our commitment to embedding sustainability across our business.
We are a market leader in electric vehicle insurance and are proud to be supporting customers’ transition to a lower carbon economy by offering award-winning cover, while also increasing customers’ resilience and preparedness for extreme weather.
We also help to deliver change through our investment into sustainable assets with annual targets for investment into climate solutions and green bonds, such as funds investing in renewable energy platforms and green transportation. We are also working closely with our claims suppliers across the globe to help bring about real, sustainable change, such as encouraging repair over replacement of items and increasing the use of recycled car parts.
As one the World’s Best Workplaces, Admiral is also renowned for its unique culture and aims to continue to deliver sustainable growth authentically in line with our values. Our belief in imperfect environmentalism means that we promote inclusion across the Group and believe that every small action contributes to bigger change.
