Background and experience
Costantino Moretti was appointed Head of International Insurance in June 2020 and is responsible for the Group’s operations in France, Italy, Spain and the United States.
Costantino joined the Group in 2007 to lead the Italian business, ConTe.it's, Technical and Compliance function. Costantino has held a number of senior roles there including Head of Claims and Underwriting, and latterly as CEO from 2016 to 2020.
Prior to joining the Group, Costantino worked at Gruppo Toro Assicurazioni as an actuary in the business’ Technical Department.
Costantino is a qualified actuary and has a Statistical Actuarial Sciences degree from Sapienza University of Rome and a Master’s in Enterprise Engineering from the University of Rome Tor Vergata.
Costantino is considered to be a “Person Discharging Managerial Responsibility (PDMR)” for the purposes of the Market Abuse Regulations.
