Background and experience
Scott Cargill was appointed CEO of Admiral Money in October 2017.
Scott joined the Group in May 2016 as Head of Lending to set up the loans business and has led it from the initial build through to its launch.
Scott previously worked for Lloyds Banking Group where he held a number of roles including Head of Strategy and Business Development for the Group’s Consumer Finance business, and led the Online Car Finance business.
Prior to this, Scott spent 12 years in senior finance and actuarial roles. First at Scottish Widows followed by 9 years in in the UK Retail division at the Royal Bank of Scotland.
Scott is a qualified accountant and has a Mathematics degree from the University of Edinburgh.
Scott Cargill is a considered to be a “Person Discharging Managerial Responsibility (PDMR)” for the purposes of the Market Abuse Regulations.
